Book Review - WING CHUN KUNG FU: A COMPLETE GUIDE, VOL. 2

In this video, I review the book WING CHUN KUNG FU: A COMPLETE GUIDE, VOLUME 2 by Joseph Wayne Smith. It also has the subtitle "Fighting & Grappling," but I was running out of space for the title of this video!

If you want to buy the book based on my review, you can do so by following this link: https://amzn.to/2Q1ueqy

As you can see by my title, this is the second book in a three-volume series. In the years since these books were originally released, the publishing company has released them in one volume. If you prefer to buy just one book instead of three individual ones, then you can get it here: https://amzn.to/3h3YX1g

***DISCLAIMER: What I have provided you here are affiliate links, which means I will get a commission if you buy it. However, that will come out of AMAZON'S pocket, not yours. Also, I would not post an affiliate link to a book that I thought was awful.***

ABOUT THIS VIDEO: An interesting volume, this one. I don't recall anyone else who said that Wing Chun had grappling and throwing techniques hidden in it before this book. (My Sifu Larry London has said the same, but of course I met him many years after I read this.)

The section about combining Wing Chun with White Crane Kung Fu and Muay Thai is also interesting. I wouldn't say I necessarily agree with the author, but it is an interesting hypothesis. I wonder if he has gone on to teach the system that way?

Hmmm...I smell another possible interview coming on!
