ABOUT THIS VIDEO: This is not the kind of exercise program that probably entered your mind. It's not you following a DVD with Shaun T and his sweaty pals in a high school gym. Well, this is not high intensity INTERVAL training. We are one "I" too short for that.

It seemed like the lazy person's fitness solution. Only one 1-hour workout per week? Yeah, right. That flew in the face of any other fitness advice. How could it be possible? Well, I read the book, and it made sense. I figured, "Maybe I should try it out." At the end of the book, the author provides a link to find facilities in your area that train people according to the HIT philosophy. I found one called BioFitNY. I went there for a free trial session ...
... and damn, I was AMAZED at how sore I was the next day.
And that was all it took to make me a believer. Since then, I have gone back and started training. It's only been a month and a half, and I'm already down from 241 pounds to 228. It helps that they also provide you with nutrition guidance. Believe me: if Jay and Elena look the way they do because they work out and eat the same way, then I'm going to give it a try!
