As you might have guesses from my discussions of Wing Chun, this isn't the kind of martial art you can learn by reading articles about it. In fact, this is true of ANY style, but it is especially the case when you have a style that deals so much with sensitivity and proper body mechanics.
Having said that, this doesn't mean that reading articles is a waste of time.
That quote comes from the legendary Bruce Lee himself, and he was right. Even if you disagree with something you read, it was still worth your while to read it. After all, you didn't know you felt that way about the topic until you saw that, so in the end you got to learn a little bit more about yourself, right?
What I said about Wing Chun videos on YouTube holds true about articles as well: there is a lot out there, and not all of it is good. In fact, some of it is downright awful. I have done my best to review each article thoroughly, so I can be positive I haven't given you something crappy or just plain false.
And yes, to be honest, some of the articles are ones that I have written, but hey...if I didn't think I was knowledgeable enough about the style to share my thoughts on it, then this website (and Geek Wing Chun Inc. as a whole) wouldn't even exist!
There are new articles written about Wing Chun all the time. I will do my best to make sure I stay on top of things and bring you only the most well-written, informative, and accurate articles out there.
Just like with the page about YouTube videos, this is a list that could theoretically keep growing, with no end in sight.
It's my sincere hope that you find something here that really inspires you and helps you to further your Wing Chun training.
